👋 Hi everyone, I’m Richard, founder of FreeBonde. Welcome to our blog! You might have already seen our stylish and modern hydroponic planter on YouTube or social media. But this is more than just a pretty gadget — it’s a powerful indoor growing system that lets you harvest fresh veggies in just 2 to 5 days!In this article, I’ll walk you through the unboxing process and show you how easy it is to set it up, whether you’re a first-time grower or just curious about indoor hydroponics.

🌱 What’s So Special About the Mist Smart Planter?

  • Fully automated hydroponic growing system
  • Sleek Scandinavian-inspired design
  • No soil, no pesticides, no mess
  • Fresh harvests every few days

This isn’t just a smart planter — it’s your new personal micro-farm.

📦 Step-by-Step Unboxing & Setup

1. What You’ll See First

You’ll find an English instruction manual right on top. Please read it carefully — it’s packed with helpful tips for your first grow.

2. Remove the Protective Foam

Take out the foam inserts, then gently but firmly pull up the LED light board from the telescopic poles. Do not force it from the sides.

3. Open the Planting Panel

Inside, you’ll find all the accessories. Once removed, you’ll see the water tank and a pre-installed silent water pump.

4. Plug in and Power On

  • Insert the pump cable into the socket on the backplate.
  • There’s a small groove for the cable — make sure it fits so the lid can close properly.
  • Plug in the adapter (with EU/US converter as needed).
  • The pump and light will automatically turn on.

5. Control Panel

There are 4 touch buttons:

  • Power on/off
  • Pump on/off
  • Veggie light mode
  • Flower & fruit light mode

⚠️ Important: Don’t run the pump without water — it may get damaged.

6. Auto Mode in Action

Once powered on, the machine takes care of everything:

  • 16h light / 8h rest cycle
  • Pump runs every 30 minutes

It’s set-and-forget gardening — perfect for busy urban life.

🔌 Electrical & Water Safety Tips

This is a hydroponic system, so it involves water. Please avoid getting the power socket area wet. If it does get splashed, ensure everything is dry before restarting.

The controller box behind the tank doesn’t need to be removed. If accidentally pulled out, just slide it back into place.

🧩 What Accessories Are Included?

Depending on your location, accessories may vary slightly. But generally, you’ll find:

  • 12× Grow Baskets: Hold plant roots. Customizable.
  • 12× Grow Domes: Mini greenhouse for seed germination.
  • 12× Plant Labels: Write plant names and dates. Insert next to each hole.
  • 5× Pod Lips: Cover unused holes to keep bugs out.
  • 12× Pod Labels: Light-blocking stickers to prevent algae.
  • 1× Water Filling Cap: Covers the refill hole.
  • 1× Water Level Gauge: Simple physical water indicator (but the tank is semi-transparent — just look!).
  • 1× Tweezers: Handy plastic tool (a bit soft, can be improved with DIY mods).
  • 12× Sponges (non-standard): For growing from seeds.
